Child Development Center 明德兒童啟育中心 provides support for child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) for more than 40 years. In 2018, we have collaborated on an app development project, aiming to transform the communication between students, parents and the center digitally.
Before, CDC use physical paper reports to share child's learning progress in parent meeting held regularly. Parents would need to fill in a worksheet to track Individual Learning Pathway (ILP) goals.
Playa has worked with CDC to build a mobile app and an internal management system for CDC to enhance the workflow of the center.
Integrating with Salesforce, parents and children data are synchronized to the internal system where assessment reports are uploaded and reviewed.
Parents are able to login to the mobile app to track goals suggested by the therapist. They can also view multi-media content on how to achieve the specific goals.
School announcements are made through push notification. Parent meetings are also scheduled via CDC Connects.
